The Modern Directory was formed between business partners, Jarret Levin and Theresa Metzler, to solve the problems they had within their own jobs. Despite their two vastly different backgrounds, together, they found a white space within the industry where finding contractors or retailers was deemed difficult.
Working as two small businesses
We often needed to expand our network as new projects arose. Whether we needed to find a unique fabric, a specialized contractor or a new retailer for a brand, our options were always limited. That is when the idea for The Modern Directory was born. A platform that creates an entirely vertical database within the fashion industry designed promote, discover and connect businesses whether you’re a Brand, Manufacturer, Retailer or Service.
